CDT 2009 Highlights & Resolving Dentistry's Reimbursement Challenges

About the Presenter:
Vicki Anderson, editor of Insurance Solutions Newsletter, is one of the nation's leading experts on dental coding and insurance reimbursement. Ms. Anderson attends the ADA's Code Revision Committee (CRC) meetings giving her additional insights into the proper use of dental codes. Recruited by the American Dental Association to speak at the ADA Annual Session, Ms. Anderson draws on over 30 years of dental claims experience and interviews with claims examiners, insurance commissioners, and dental directors across the country. Ms. Anderson is known for her energetic, in-depth coding programs that target the billing challenges faced by dental practices around the country. She is a member of the National Dental EDI Council (NDEDIC), the American Association of Dental Consultants, and a recipient of the Award for Professional Excellence from Western Washington University's College of Education.

Vicki Anderson will kick off the morning with an in-depth analysis of CDT 2009's new and revised codes that become effective January 1, 2009. She will then drill into dentistry's biggest reimbursement challenges: crowns, buildups, onlays, veneers, implant-supported restorations, fixed bridges, non-surgical periodontal services, surgical extractions, TMJ orthotics, nightguards, etc. Attendees will learn what claims examiners are looking for on dental claims and how to develop meaningful narratives.

Are you ready for CDT 2009?
Learn which dental codes have been added, revised, and deleted in CDT 2009
Implant restorations--Easy to do but hard to code?
The abutment appears to be the problem!
Having problems with periodontal claims?
Learn when D0180 is appropriately billed
